As a former dancer, I always found beauty in expressing the energy of the body; capturing movement within a still frame that can come alive through lines, light and energy. 

When my grandpa Jacques handed me his 1976 35mm Canon AE-1 film camera, I discovered a completely different way of working, one that required patience and intention. Every frame had to be deliberate, raw, and caught in its momentum.

I’ve always been fond of sports. My work now spans every field from courts to tracks, stadiums to pitches, chasing moments of flow and emotion.

I travel to photograph athletes on film using a wide range of vintage cameras.
